Jewish cemetery in Lubliniec

Emotion / People

The Jewish cemetery in Lubliniec was established in May 1845.

In the 1970s, a large part of the Jewish cemetery was occupied by the National Defense League, creating a training center for drivers. Fragments of the tombstones were then piled on several heaps.

In the 1980s, the Nissenbaum Family Foundation built a common monument in the cemetery and fenced the area with a brick wall with two gates.

In 2008, renovation works were carried out in the cemetery, during which the maneuvering area for driving lessons was removed.
